Two books in two months? I'm on a roll. Actually, I've been working on these two books for a long time and finally forced myself to finish them. My new book, The New Girl was heavily influenced by the #metoo movement and the stories that came out surrounding various news organizations. Adriane Taylor starts a new job at a cable news network only to learn of their virulent culture of sexual harassment and submission. She learns from her mentor, Meghan McIntyre, that using her body is the only way to the top. Adriane sleeps her way up the corporate ladder and positions herself to take on the veteran journalist.
